  • Account and contact information: name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address.
  • Payment information: card or bank details, processed by our third-party payment processor Woo payment /etc. — we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
  • Order information: items rented, Rental Term, delivery preferences, and your choice (where applicable) to purchase an item under the End-of-Term Purchase Option.
  • For rental applicants subject to a credit or background check: information needed to assess your application, which may include date of birth, government ID information, employment or income information, and authorization to obtain a consumer/credit report (see Section 9).
  • Communications you send us, including customer-support requests and survey responses.
  1. Information from third parties:
  • Identity-verification and fraud-prevention vendors.
  • Consumer reporting agencies / credit bureaus, for rental application screening, as described in Section 9.
  • Delivery and logistics partners, who confirm completed deliveries and pickups.
  1. Information collected automatically:
  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, items browsed, time on site, referring/exit pages.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and manage your account and process your orders, deliveries, payments, and returns.
  • Evaluate rental applications, including any required credit or background screening, where applicable.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Send service communications (order confirmations, delivery windows, billing notices) and, with your consent or as permitted by law, marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time.
  • Analyze and improve our Site and Services.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providerswho perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, delivery and warehousing, cloud hosting, customer-support tools, identity verification, and marketing platforms — bound by contract to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Consumer reporting agencies, for rental application screening, as described in Section 9.
  • Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary.
  • Government or regulatory authorities, where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • A successor business, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • Other parties, with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information for money. 

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and (where applicable) support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality. Where required, we will present a cookie-consent banner allowing you to manage non-essential cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where legally required to treat them as an opt-out request. 

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax obligations (typically [X] years after your last order for transaction records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of payment data in transit and access controls on internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are directed to adults and are not intended for, or directed at, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a manner inconsistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For all users. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions (for example, we may retain transaction records as required by law). 9. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Notice — Rental Applicants

If your rental application is subject to a credit or background check, we may obtain a consumer report (such as a credit report) about you from a consumer reporting agency to evaluate your application. We will obtain your written authorization before doing so. If we deny your application, in whole or in part, based on information in a consumer report, we will provide you with an adverse-action notice as required by the FCRA, including the name and contact information of the consumer reporting agency and your right to obtain a free copy of the report and to dispute its accuracy directly with that agency.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Effective Date” and, where required by law, provide additional notice of material changes.
